Mechanical Reliability Engineer at IFF, Memphis, Tennessee
In this role you will work with site resources to identify and resolve equipment reliability issues. Work will consist of analysis of historical work completed, analysis of maintenance practices and techniques, application of preventive and predictive maintenance technologies, and defect elimination. Also, will have a high level of knowledge in at least one area or equipment type. Work is performed under general supervision.
Main responsibilities:
- Identification, Design, and Implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of recurring reliability issues.
- Coordination of Predictive Maintenance activities.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs including direct supervision of contract maintenance crews.
- Assist in the identification and tracking of plant critical spare parts.
- Assist in revision and development of written mechanical maintenance procedures.
- Assist in the analysis and improvement of site precision maintenance techniques.
- Lead and participate on reliability improvement teams.
- Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in a technical field.
- Preferred Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability with rotating equipment.
Knowledge of:
- Theories, principles, methods and procedures of applicable field of engineering.
- Statistics and experimental design.
- MS Office package including Visio.
Ability to:
- Manage projects.
- Collect, process and analyze data.
- Develop creative solutions to problems.
- Communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
- Execute Six Sigma methodology.
- Work effectively both independently and within teams.
Preferred:
- SAP PM experience.
- PdM certifications in Ultrasound, Vibration, Infrared, RDI, MCA, and MLT/MLA.

Senior Reliability Engineer at General Mills, Hannibal, Missouri
The Sr. Reliability Engineer will provide technical leadership as an equipment, maintenance, and system reliability specialist at the Hannibal Plant. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for supporting and leading the journey to a proactive maintenance culture by maximizing system reliability at the lowest life-cycle cost.
The Reliability Engineer will (1) serve as a technical resource for manufacturing equipment and systems, (2) identify, develop, and execute strategic solutions to plant performance issues, (3) build capabilities of technical support personnel and plant line teams, and (4) know how to utilize data to support strategic initiatives and set reliability priorities for the plant. This role will report directly to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager while building a strong internal network within the maintenance, engineering, and operations communities of practice.

About The Role
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
The Reliability Engineer I (New Graduate) will also be a part of the Holcim US Build4Growth Program. This is an extensive, 16-month cement manufacturing learning and development program designed to provide new graduate engineers with foundational knowledge and experience in the main operational areas of our cement plants. This program is built on a blended learning approach that includes online learning, face-to-face sessions, on-the-job assignments, and projects.
