The Maintenance Supervisor plays an integral role as a front-line leader in a manufacturing environment. This role will provide maintenance leadership to deliver a world-class operation. The Maintenance Supervisor works to drive out top losses on a 24-hour cycle. The position uses continuous improvement tools and leadership skills and is responsible for fostering a team environment. He/she is responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown-related losses. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for building capability in Operating Teams and Equipment Owners to deliver overall line results.  This is typically a day shift position, but the applicant must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, as well as be on call to support a 24-hour operation.

Senior Reliability Engineer at General Mills, Hannibal, Missouri

The Sr. Reliability Engineer will provide technical leadership as an equipment, maintenance, and system reliability specialist at the Hannibal Plant.  The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for supporting and leading the journey to a proactive maintenance culture by maximizing system reliability at the lowest life-cycle cost.

The Reliability Engineer will (1) serve as a technical resource for manufacturing equipment and systems, (2) identify, develop, and execute strategic solutions to plant performance issues, (3) build capabilities of technical support personnel and plant line teams, and (4) know how to utilize data to support strategic initiatives and set reliability priorities for the plant.  This role will report directly to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager while building a strong internal network within the maintenance, engineering, and operations communities of practice.

About The Role

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.

The Reliability Engineer I (New Graduate) will also be a part of the Holcim US Build4Growth Program. This is an extensive, 16-month cement manufacturing learning and development program designed to provide new graduate engineers with foundational knowledge and experience in the main operational areas of our cement plants. This program is built on a blended learning approach that includes online learning, face-to-face sessions, on-the-job assignments, and projects.
